This cake was for another New Beginnings (see previous post). The request was for a purse cake, with rainbow ruffles. I followed a cute tutorial off Cake Central for the purse, which is a round cake with two sides cut off. The cakes are both covered in fondant. The purse piping, bow and handle are made from modeling chocolate. The rainbow ruffles are fondant and modeling chocolate mixed. The inside is rainbow as well, but sadly, I don’t have a picture of that.
