For the retirement of the dress department manager at Macy’s at South Coast Plaza, this (really busty) mannequin dress cake is made up of 6 6″ cakes stacked together and carved into and abdomen. I used fondant for the neck and boobs. The party colors were dark purple and silver. The client wanted a Great Gatsby style dress with grey marble like the floor tiles at Macy’s.
The cake was vanilla with strawberry buttercream.
